Once Human Gravity Abyss — Visional Wheel Season 4
When gravity bends upward, every old habit becomes a liability. A complete S4 briefing before you warp into the Abyss.
Gravity Abyss is Visional Wheel Season 4 in Once Human, introduced with Version 2.4.1. The official update announcement described Gravity Imbalance regions, Riftwalker Relics, Aerial Hunt, Abyssal Cores, and Morphed Deviations — a seasonal overlay that runs on top of existing scenarios, not a replacement. This page is the pre-farm briefing. Pair it with the Visional Wheel overview and your regular build before you warp in.
Visional Wheel seasons add a boss, a Battle Pass, a modifier, and cosmetic rewards. Gravity Abyss specifically rewrites movement physics in designated regions, which means your learned map routes from Manibus are wrong in the Abyss zones.
Gravity Imbalance regions
Gravity Abyss creates zones where the rules of movement change. Vertical traversal behaves differently: jumping arcs widen, falling damage can reverse into fall injury, and positioning for cover changes mid-combat. The Abyss is not a separate map — it is a layer over existing Nalcott regions.
The practical consequence: a defensive position that works on flat ground is a trap in a gravity-flip zone. Watch your feet before you watch your crosshair.
Riftwalker Relics and Aerial Hunt
Riftwalker Relics are the seasonal collectible. They drop from the Aerial Hunt activity and from defeating Morphed Deviations in Gravity Imbalance regions. Like previous Visional Wheel collectibles, they feed the Battle Pass track and cosmetic unlocks.
Aerial Hunt is the core seasonal activity — a flight-and-combat challenge that takes advantage of the altered gravity physics. It is not a ground-level farm. Bring a Deviant that handles aggro and expect to reposition more than in a standard Prime War.
Abyssal Cores
Abyssal Cores are the seasonal crafting material. They are earned through Aerial Hunt participation, Riftwalker Relic collection, and Morphed Deviation kills. Their primary use is the Gravity Abyss Battle Pass track, which includes exclusive cosmetic items, cradle skins, and convenience boosters.
Like all seasonal currencies, Abyssal Cores do not transfer between Visional Wheel seasons. Spend them before S4 ends or lose them.
Morphed Deviations
Morphed Deviants are altered versions of standard Deviations found only in Gravity Imbalance regions. They have modified stats and abilities that take advantage of the gravity physics. The loot tables include rare Deviant variant drops and additional Riftwalker Relics.
Farm them after you understand the gravity rules, not before. A Morphed Deviation in a flip zone with the wrong positioning is a respawn timer, not a kill.
Farm routes and time efficiency
The most efficient S4 farm combines:
- Daily Aerial Hunt runs while the gravity modifier is active.
- Morphed Deviation kills on cooldown in Gravity Imbalance zones.
- Riftwalker Relic collection as a secondary objective during existing farm routes.
Prioritize the Battle Pass track. Abyssal Cores are a limited-time currency; Relic quantity matters less than spending the Cores before the season ends.
Interaction with regular scenarios
Gravity Abyss does not change your existing scenario. If you play Manibus, you still run Prime War and silos. The Abyss is an overlay that adds a parallel reward track, not a replacement for the core loop.
When Isles of Abyss ships in October 2026, it will add an ocean layer. Gravity Abyss runs until Starry Studio announces S5, which early speculation tied to a sound-focused theme based on 2026 official communications.
What to do this season
- Read the gravity zone rules on the map before you engage.
- Run Aerial Hunt daily for Abyssal Cores.
- Farm Morphed Deviations for Deviant variant drops and Relics.
- Clear the Battle Pass before the season ends.
- Do not abandon your Shrapnel or Bounce main for the Abyss reward track. They fund each other.
Frequently Asked Questions

The Gravity Abyss Battle Pass track. They expire when S4 ends.
Are Morphed Deviations worth farming?
Yes, for Deviant variant drops and Riftwalker Relics. Farm them after you understand the gravity rules.
