Once Human Prime War and Silos

Public world bosses and instanced silos — the PvE checks that fund your stars.

Prime War and Silos

Prime War and Securement Silos are how Once Human turns a pretty Territory Core into a six-star gun. Open-world trash does not print enough fragments. This page is the how-to-beat: what to bring, when to queue, and why a two-star SN700 in a public boss is a wipe with extra steps. Pair it with a Shrapnel or Bounce page and the weapon tier list.

Manibus is the default home of Prime War. Other scenarios keep silos with their own modifiers. Nightmare is opt-in. If you just installed, finish getting started before you pad a 40-player enrage.

Prime War (world bosses)

Prime War is a public, timed world-boss event. You show up on the map pin, you shoot a giant Deviation, you split loot. It is online co-op even if you queued solo — other Metas will be there. There is no local split-screen version.

Bring:

  • A gun that is actually starred. Public bosses punish grey legendaries.
  • Festering Gel or Lonewolf’s Whisper from the Deviant tier list. Whisper peels aggro so the revive chain is shorter.
  • Clean food and Activators. Sanity still lowers max HP in the arena (survival).
  • Ammo crafted at home. You will not find a vendor in the boss ring.

Etiquette that is actually DPS: do not stand in the group with a meme melee if you cannot stay up. Play the SOCR beginner plan until the stars exist. Loot is not a reason to grief the enrage timer.

World bosses such as The Devourer (the unique Digby route in some seasons) drop pet variants and fragments. The embedded video is a 2026 walkthrough of that fight — use it for positioning, then come back here for the spend plan. Season names move; the pin on your map is the source of truth.

Silos and monoliths

Silos are instanced PvE: trash rooms, a mechanic, a boss. Nightmare variants add modifiers (pollution, shields, timers). Lea Lab is the puzzle-heavy example people clip; Phi / Alpha / Sigma nightmare names rotate. A 2026 drop pass slightly reduced weapon rates in Monoliths and Silos and added armor to Securement Silos — which is why you still run them for the armor tier list, not only guns.

How to not brick a key:

  1. One damage tag. Mixed mags are how you reload in the wrong room.
  2. Match the modifier. Pollution rooms want Gel and Activators, not a third SMG.
  3. Calibrations before cosmetics. See Wish Machine.
  4. If the silo is puzzle-gated (Lea), the build matters less than the mechanic. Watch a clear, then copy sockets.

Nightmare is a checkbox. Turning it on with a two-star Bounce bow is how people decide the game is unfair. Star the family on normal first.

Loot and Starchrom

Bosses and silos feed Secret Crates, fragments, and the materials that become codes-level Starchrom over a week. They do not replace mailbox grants or public promo strings. Spend the output on one gun family. Opening a random crate onto a pistol you will not calibrate is the same mistake as wasting CONSOLEDEV.

Group versus solo

Solo can clear most PvE if the build is real. Prime War is faster in a hive or pickup. PvP players should not bring Bullseye snipers into a silo and expect burn ticks. Different TTK, different page.

When Isles of Abyss ships the Sunken Lord as an 8-player legion dungeon, treat it as Prime War with boats — same Gel, same ammo discipline, new floor hazards. Until October 2026, Nalcott bosses are the farm.

Queue when the food is cooked. Leave when the timer is a wipe. That is the whole raid.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Once Human questions.

Can I solo Prime War?

You can tag it. Public groups make the enrage realistic. Bring a real gun either way.

What is the difference between a silo and Prime War?

Silos are instanced. Prime War is a public world boss. Both pay fragments.

Do I need nightmare difficulty?

Not until your main is starred. Normal silos fund the stars that make nightmare possible.

Which Deviant for bosses?

Festering Gel to learn. Lonewolf's Whisper when the room is a pile-on. Details on the Deviant tier list.
