Codes are one of the fastest ways to jump-start a new Meta after the August 2026 console launch, and they remain useful for veterans who just rolled a fresh scenario. Codes expire without a countdown. Treat every list — including this one — as a snapshot. If a code returns “invalid,” it is usually used up, region-locked, or already past its window. Creator codes that follow the anniv + digits pattern (for example anniv132) are often unique per partner. They usually work for new or returning accounts and may fail if you already claimed a similar anniversary grant.
World-chat shout codes
A handful of Once Human rewards are not redeem-box codes at all. You type the full phrase in world chat and the mailbox pays out. These were still circulating around the second-anniversary window:

Chat codes are easy to mistype and they vanish after the event. If nothing arrives, you either missed the window or you are in a channel that does not count as world chat (hive chat and private chat do not).
Why codes matter after a season reset
Starchrom is the permanent currency that stars blueprints in the Wish Machine. A 1,000–2,000 Starchrom drop is not a full six-star weapon, but it is a free Echoes of the Rift pull or a Blueprint Shop fragment stack you would otherwise farm from Prime War and silos. Secret Crates also feed the weapon tier list plan: you want fragments for one gun family, not a random legendary you will never calibrate.
New console players should redeem before they spend a single Crystgin. The getting started guide assumes you have already claimed the console-wave codes so your first Memetic unlocks and ammo crafts are not gated by a dry Energy Link wallet.
What usually fails
- Already redeemed. Each public code is once per account, not per character.
- Wrong box. Chat phrases fail in Redeem Code; CONSOLEDEV fails in chat.
- Tutorial lock. Shop Events (F3) unlock after the early Eve of Evolution crafting steps. Settings → Account → Redeem Code is available sooner on most clients.
- Expired livestream codes.
CC1030YOUTUBE,CC1030TWITCH, and similar dated creator codes die with the stream. Do not sit on them. - Region / platform mix-ups. A few partner codes are written for a specific launcher. If Steam rejects it, try the in-game box after you have linked the account — do not paste Steam wallet codes here.
After you redeem
Open the mailbox, move Starchrom and Marks into the character you will actually play, and park Secret Crates until you have read the Shrapnel build or Bounce bow build. Opening a crate “for fun” on a throwaway pistol is how new Metas waste a month of blueprint XP. If you are still choosing a scenario, stay on Manibus so the rewards follow you into Eternaland instead of a PvP wipe.
