Once Human Invite Codes

Once Human has two completely different “code” systems and they do not share a text box. Promo redeem strings (CONSOLEDEV, 2026SFOH, chat shouts) live on the codes hub and the how to redeem page. Invite / friend codes start with yq and grant a new player a weapon blueprint plus XP-style points as they level. Mixing them up is the number-one mail-empty ticket after console launch.

This page is only the friend system.

Who can use an invite

You must be below level 10 to accept. After that the Accept Invitation button either hides or rejects the string. If you already blasted through Eve of Evolution and hit 12, you missed the window on this character. A mule under 10 on the same account may still work — confirm current rules in patch notes because Starry has tweaked new-player grants before.

The inviter can be any level. They pick which weapon blueprint to attach. That is the whole point: a friend who already starred a Shrapnel line can hand you a usable gun family instead of a random grey.

How to find your invite code (PC)

1. Load the character that should be the inviter.
2. Press F3 or Esc → Shop Events → Events.
3. Open the Gather Friends card (second Events tab on many patches).
4. Copy My Invitation Code. It looks like yq plus digits.
5. On the right, under Share Weapons, pick the blueprint you actually want a newbie to use. Confirm with F to copy.

Mobile and console use the same Events / Gather Friends path from the pause menu. If Shop Events is still locked, finish the early crafts in getting started.

How to accept

1. Character under level 10.
2. F3 / Events / Gather Friends / Accept Invitation.
3. Paste the yq string. Do not paste it into Redeem Code. Redeem Code is for CONSOLEDEV.
4. You receive the shared blueprint. Get within about 50 metres of the inviter later for the Meeting Gift Pack (Blue Liquor, Malt Ale, Activators on the published version).

Level milestones (15 / 25 / 35 / 45 on the documented track) grant the inviter points they spend in a Redemption Shop for extra blueprints and cosmetics. That is their problem. Yours is not wasting the attached gun.

What to ask a friend to share

• A Shrapnel or Bounce weapon if you have not picked a build yet.
• Not a melee trophy. Not a PvP sniper if you are about to run Manibus silos.
• Not “whatever is pretty.” Stars are the bottleneck; the tag has to match the weapon tier list.

Public Reddit threads full of anonymous yq codes exist. They work. They also attach whatever gun that stranger likes. Prefer a hive-mate you will actually play Prime War with.

Discord Quests, Twitch Drops, and promo codes

Still not this page. Discord Quest tokens are unique per Discord user and go in Redeem Code. Twitch Drops claim on Twitch, then the in-game mailbox. Public promo strings are the codes list. Invite codes are Gather Friends only.

If Accept Invitation says invalid, you are too high level, you typed a promo string, or the inviter copied the wrong field. Try Redeem Code only for the hub list. Try Gather Friends only for yq.
